The start of it all ...

About a year ago, I discovered the WORLD of WATTPAD!

I've read tons of stories from the website/application.

At first,  I read English stories only.

Then  I discovered that there actually were a lot of well written Tagalog/Filipino/taglish Romantic stories.

I've been amazed at how good young Filipinos are in WRITING.

The ideas in their WATTPAD stories we're EXCEPTIONAL. 

Well most were kinda cliche, but still, there clearly was a rush of innovative ideas especially in the field of ROMANTIC Stories.

I've been a PASSIVE READER for a while. 

I was happy and contented  just following a writer and a story. 

Patiently waiting for my favorite story's next update.

Until my ENVIOUS instincts kicked me.

I thought, if others can do it, why can't I?

I'm a blogger ... I've been one for quite some time.

I thought ... That wouldn't be so different, would it? 

It's the same .... WRITING ....

So I decided to make a WRITING ACCOUNT in WATTPAD.

And started squeezing my creative juices out to come up with the BEST ROMANTIC STORY of all time!

All the while thinking that such task would be as easy as pie ....

But then I realized ...

Eating a pie is easy ...

But creating the pie wasn't ...

I've admired WRITERS when I was just a READER ...

but I adored other WRITERS when I tried to become a WRITER myself!

What do WATTPAD WRITERS get in WRITING and PUBLISHING STORIES anyway?

The number of VOTES and READS will never be converted to cash.

The rude comments outrage them.

Demanding readers force them to update their stories ASAP (as soon as possible) and AOAP (as often as possible)

They type till wee hours in the morning ...

Getting big saggy eyebags!

But they still continue writing ...

Why?

For me, it's very FULFILLING.

A simple "I like your story" comment makes my heart beat a million beats per second. 

Though, I know I couldn't get anything monetary for this ...

I thought this program is a very good avenue to bring out the stories that pop on my mind.

At least now, someone can read the dramas and  the crazy imaginations on my mind.

At least now, there's an audience ...

People willing to view and experience the craziness on my mind.

WATTPAD is one great APPLICATION!

THANKS to who ever came up with the WATTPAD idea.

One proof that technology really has a way of making the world smaller ...

I didn't really make sense, did I?

But who makes sense anyway?
